I was trying my hand at making homemade apple cider. I’ve done two batches so far. In the first batch, I added more nutmeg than recommended, and this product really delivered flavor—plenty of nutmeg flavor. The second batch, I was lighter on the nutmeg, and it was too weak for my taste. I haven’t made a third batch yet. And no, I don’t follow any specific recipe. I just use the grandmother’s way—pinch of this, dash of that, and a bit more of something else. Regardless of how it turns out, the apple cider was nice but could use some tweaking.
The product showed up during the rain but was left outside in a paper delivery pouch. I worried it would be wet since there was water inside the cap and leaking out. But the product stayed dry. It tastes fresh and is of reasonable quality.
Todo perfecto con este producto, muchísimas gracias.
I usually prefer whole nutmeg, but this is handy when I’m in a rush and need to sprinkle some.
This product has a pleasing nutmeg flavor.
I like everything about it.
Secret ingredients.
It’s nice to find something this tasty that doesn’t require grinding. It’s pourable and delightful.
It’s just what I anticipated. It’s tough to rate something like this, but it met my expectations completely.
This will be good for a while!
Exactly as it claims—nutmeg. Seems perfectly fine. The flavor and freshness are certainly there, and the larger size of the container is a real treat.
This nutmeg is ground finer than many you find at stores. It’s perfect for sprinkling on lattes, desserts, or in baking. I think the flavor is fantastic, and the quality is solid. It arrives fully sealed, and the lid has one side for measuring and the other for sprinkling.
If you’re a nutmeg enthusiast, this is a solid find. I’m preparing jars of chai spice and pumpkin spice for gifts this fall, so I’ll go through this quickly.
I use a fair bit of nutmeg in my baked goods, so having this around is nice. It arrived in perfect condition, and the seal was intact. I had a little concern, as sometimes these things can break during shipping, but this was just fine. The aroma is lovely, and the taste is precisely what you expect from nutmeg. No issues at all.
Tastes like nutmeg. Smells like nutmeg. Looks like nutmeg. It’s gotta be nutmeg! Honestly, it is nutmeg! And fresh as can be with a shelf life until December 2025. Packaged in the US and sourced from Indonesia.
I enjoy adding nutmeg to my white sauce; it really enhances the flavor, and you can notice when it’s skipped. The container size looks like it’s going to last forever since you usually only need a little.
Sure… it’s just nutmeg, but it’s 100% nutmeg, grown in Indonesia and processed in the USA. I tend to use nutmeg frequently since I love to bring out flavors… and not just salt like many restaurants; I’m talking about real flavor from real spices. Nutmeg combined with cinnamon really enhances dishes!! This package smelled fresh, was sealed well, and is a great size.
It may not stack up against fresh-grated nutmeg, but it’s way more convenient if you use a good bit for baking and cooking. The dual lid (for sprinkling or scooping) is a clever design too. It might look like a budget brand, but it’s $10.99 after all.
The nutmeg smells and tastes just right, and it seems fresh and of good quality. It’s a big container, much larger than what I usually purchase, so even considering that ground nutmeg typically lasting 3-4 years (this container expires 12/25), I’m planning to share some. The package was delivered securely sealed.
I’m really into the price, and the nutmeg quality is solid – but once you open it, I’m a bit concerned about how long it keeps that zest. So, I went ahead and Freshlocked a bag and tossed it in the freezer. Then, I filled my personal container and sent enough back home for my sister and cousin, which should last them probably a couple of years. That’s a lot of nutmeg, and if you’re not using a lot at once – what you save in money might go down the drain if you have to toss it after sitting for a year or two.
